Following the recent launch of the MG M9, the carmaker has now confirmed that the MG Cyberster will be launched in India tomorrow. It will be MG’s second product under the more premium MG Select portfolio. The Cyberster was earlier showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, and the key details have also been revealed, all of which have been detailed below:
Design

The MG Cyberster looks flamboyant, to say the least. It is expected to turn a lot of heads, thanks to its sporty convertible and low-slung design, which is further complemented by the scissor doors. Upon launch, it will be the most affordable car in India to get such unique doors. Other than this, the Cyberster gets sleek LED headlights with petal-like LED DRLs, 20-inch 7-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels and arrow-shaped LED taillights along with a light bar that spans the length of the tailgate.
The MG Cyberster will be offered in four dual-tone colours, including Flare Red, Nuclear Yellow, Andes Grey and Modern Beige as the primary hues. The first two shades can be had with a black roof while the latter two come with a red rooftop.
Interior

The Cyberster is offered as a two-seater with an equally appealing interior as its outer design. It has a fighter-jet cockpit like dashboard design along with a three-spoke flat bottom steering wheel. This 2-seater roadster gets sport seats which are 6-way electrically adjustable and also comes with heating and memory function.
Features & Safety

The MG Cyberster isn’t shy of features as it comes equipped with amenities like a tri-screen setup on the dashboard, including a 10.25-inch screen for the driver’s display, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an additional 7-inch screen on the centre console for viewing vital stats. There is an additional fourth screen dedicated to the AC controls. It also gets an electrically openable and foldable roof, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and multi-drive modes.
In terms of safety, the Cyberster offers 4 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features such as lane-keep assist and active emergency braking.
Powertrain

The carmaker has confirmed that the Cyberster will be powered by a single battery pack and will be offered with an all-wheel drivetrain on our shores. The detailed specifications are as follows:
Battery Pack | 77 kWh |
No. of electric motors | 2 (one on each axle) |
Drivetrain | All-wheel-drive (AWD) |
Power | 510 PS |
Torque | 725 Nm |
Acceleration (0-100 kmph) | 3.2 seconds |
MIDC-claimed range | 580 km |
Rivals

The MG Cyberster will not have any rival, but can be considered as an electric alternative to the BMW Z4. Its prices are expected to start around Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom).
