How Much Is the 2026 Nissan Armada?

Nissan’s big three-row Armada SUV was all-new for the 2025 model year. In our first encounter, we found a lot to admire about the redesigned seven- or eight-occupant SUV, from its power and capability to its luxurious cabin and easy-to-use secondary controls.

There’s a new NISMO trim level for 2026 with more power, a retuned exhaust, sport tuning for the adaptive air suspension and steering, a unique body kit, and red exterior and interior accents. The rest of the Armada lineup is mostly unchanged, though the Pro-4X trim can now be had with second-row captain’s chairs. For the new model year, Nissan is raising the price of the entry-level SV trim by $1,500; the rest of the lineup is $740 more expensive. The 2026 Nissan Armada starts at $61,030 (all prices include $2,190 destination charge).

Trim Levels

The entry-level Armada SV can only be had in an eight-seat configuration, with captain’s chairs up front and three-across benches in the second and third rows. The NISMO is only available in the seven-seat setup with second-row captain’s chairs; all other trim levels offer a choice between the two interior layouts.

The SV rides on 18-inch wheels and features LED headlights and taillights, a trailer hitch receiver, rain-sensing windshield wipers, keyless entry and start, and remote start. Inside are synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, six speakers, and a pair of 12.3-inch displays for the digital instrument panel and touchscreen infotainment system, the latter of which includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The SL upgrades to 20-inch wheels and adds a drive mode selector with a towing mode, as well as trailer sway control. Its cabin gains Nissan’s fancier TailorFit synthetic leather, a heated steering wheel with a power tilt/telescoping steering column, and heated front seats. The SL’s tech suite is bolstered with navigation, wireless device charging and a 12-speaker Klipsch audio system.

Buyers who step up to the Platinum get dual panoramic moonroofs, windshield-wiper de-icers and a hands-free power liftgate. The Platinum’s interior is overhauled with genuine quilted leather, ventilated front seats, heated second-row chairs and ambient lighting; both the digital gauge cluster and infotainment touchscreen grow to 14.3 inches.

Aimed at those with outdoorsy lifestyles, the Pro-4X rides on an adaptive air suspension with an electronically controlled locking rear differential and 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. It also features an underbody skid plate, red tow hooks, an LED light bar spanning the liftgate and an integrated trailer brake controller. Most of the Platinum’s luxury features carry over minus the heated second-row seats, which are optional.

New for 2026, the Armada NISMO is for buyers who want a degree of on-road performance from their nearly 3-ton family hauler. Here, the adaptive suspension is tuned for better handling and aided by 22-inch wheels wearing high-performance tires. Inside, it’s a similar story to the Pro-4X, except the heated second-row seats aren’t even available and the front seats aren’t ventilated but do massage.

Forward occupants finally get all of the comfort functions in the Platinum Reserve. In addition to heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, the Platinum Reserve features heated second-row seating, trim-specific exterior detailing, puddle lamps, body-color running boards, the LED light bar from the Pro-4X and 22-inch wheels.

Standard and Available Safety Features

Safety technologies that are standard across the 2026 Armada lineup include:

  • Forward collision warning with pedestrian detection
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane departure steering assist
  • Blind spot monitors with trailer coverage and steering assist
  • Rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Driver attention monitor
  • Road-sign recognition
  • Automatic high beams

The SL trim adds a 360-degree camera system, and the Platinum includes in-car and dash cams. A head-up display is optional on the SL, Platinum, Pro-4X, Platinum Reserve and NISMO. Nissan’s ProPilot Assist 2.1 hands-free semi-autonomous driving system is optional on every trim but the base SV and Pro-4X.

Powertrain Specs and MPG

The Armada is powered by a 425-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine making 516 pounds-feet of torque. In the NISMO, the V-6 is tuned to deliver another 35 hp, for a total of 460, but torque remains unchanged and it requires premium fuel. (Premium is recommended but not required in the other trims.)

A nine-speed automatic transmission backs the V-6, and rear-wheel drive is standard on most trim levels; 4WD is optional on the SV, SL, Platinum and Platinum Reserve, and it’s standard on the Pro-4X and NISMO. Regardless of drivetrain layout, every 2026 Armada can tow up to 8,500 pounds.

Nissan says that with RWD, the Armada returns the same EPA-estimated 16/20/18 mpg city/highway/combined as the 2025 model (official EPA ratings for 2026 are not yet available); the 4WD SUV is rated at 16/19/17 mpg. With its all-terrain tires, the Pro-4X slips to 15/18/16 mpg.
